Barcelona's International Festival of Contemporary Art, also called BAC!, is filled with various art works from multimedia, to installation art and murals which have come from all over the world.

No Hunger Festival 2011

An Indie music festival that is being held with the aim of raising money and awareness for charities combating world hunger. The concert will feature a number of artists and DJs.

A Christmas fair which has been held near the catedral since 1786. There are normally around 300 market stalls which sell seasonal gifts, while nativity scenes, parades and exhibitions entertain the crowds.

The photographer married, in 1956, Rosario, a gypsy from the Montjüic barracks, which allowed him to photograph the Barcelona gypsy community from the inside. Some 80 pictures, original negatives and vintage prints are exhibited.

The Smashing Pumpkins

El Lago de los Cisnes

The famous ballet by Tchaikovsky will be performed by the Moscow Ballet. Swan Lake tells the story of an impossible love across four acts, expertly performed by the main dancers Ekaterina Bortyakova and Akzhol Mussakhanov.

This adaption of the film ‘The 39 Steps’ by Alfred Hitchcock has had success in New York, London and Paris, and is now coming to Barcelona. It is a great mix of action (murders, accidents, shootings etc.) and a great sense of humour.
