Located in the fascinating region of Cataluña and right upon the shores of the shimmering Mediterranean Sea, Barcelona and its environs are jam-packed with things to do, see and experience. Students at our Spanish school in Barcelona will have the opportunity to sign up and come along on a wide range of excursions. These 1-3 day excursions are scheduled for the weekends.

Every weekend you'll have the option of signing up for excursions to Spain's most interesting cities and towns, and - always keeping in mind the time of year - we try to take advantage of special festival seasons. Below you'll find a few of our most popular weekend excursions from Barcelona:

During the week, our Spanish language school in Barcelona plans a variety of optional afternoon and evening activities in which our students can partake once their classes let out for the day. To truly experience Barcelona's famous cultural scene, here are just a few of the many activities we plan for our students:

  • Guided city tours by neighborhood and/ or theme (Roman Barcelona, Medieval Barcelona, Modernista Barcelona, Montjüic, Pueblo español ...)
  • Park Güell
  • Camp Nou Football Stadium tour
