Gaining a cultural awareness of the city and country in which you are spending time is a major component of learning to appreciate its language. We want our students to appreciate more than just the language, which is why many of our courses include an additional 5 culture lessons to complement their language studies. However, this is simply not enough for some students who have interest in dedicating a solid part of their immersion experience abroad to learning about culture topics.

Literature
- Lessons evenly divided between General Spanish lessons and Spanish Literature lessons.
- Learn about key literary trends and periods: Golden Age, Romantic era, Generation of 1927, Contemporary Novel, etc...
- Learn about and read works - in Spanish - by authors like Miguel de Cervantes, Isabel Allende, Carlos Fuentes, Gabriel García Márquez, Federico García Lorca and others.
