  • Festes dels Tres Tombs
    When? January 17
    Where? Sant Andreu and Eixample neighborhoods
    What? Festival celebrating Saint Anthony Abbot, the patron saint of animals. Festivities revolve around the traditional procession of horse-drawn carriages that does three turns - or tres tombs - in the Sant Andreu and Eixample districts. Many folks also bring their beloved pets to the Ronde Sant Pau to be blessed.

    What? The 10th edition of Barcelona's International Festival of Contemporary Art, featuring pieces contributed by galleries around the world. Various media are represented, ranging from murals to multimedia installations.

    What? An exhibition that explores the history of numbers and the role of numbers as an essential language in both day-to-day life and in the fields of technology and science. Focuses on the creation of "families" of numbers (real, natural, rational, whole, etc.) to solve problems and to help us organize, calculate, encode, etc.
